A large toad sits about the witch's cottage, sometimes retreating into her hat and watching from amongst the rummage. Gathered herbs are bound below, draped beneath a window. A window of a witch's eye! Glowing pink and seeing deep; many say you can tell a witch's eye by the unusual pupil and the pink color of her iris. A rising crescent moon and burning sun give power to her warding spells. None may enter who she does not wish to! This toad, however, she has grown accustomed to..
This pendant has been handcrafted out of fine (.999) and sterling (.925) silver. Measuring approximately 2.5" x 1.15" at widest and tallest points including bail. The chain measures approximately 18" and offers a toggle clasp closure on a dual chain aesthetic (see picture above). The jump rings have not been soldered, though they are thick and sturdy, in case you ever decide to adjust the chain length(s) in the future. Given a steely patina and then a mixture of high polishes and heavy, satin brushed finishes. Weighs approximately 1.5 ounces.
The stone is a rare and unusual piece of "mushroom" tourmaline! The largest I have ever seen and one I have been holding onto quite some time, waiting for the perfect "witch's eye" piece...
