A piece of quartz rests in the middle of a clove meadow. The stone filled with what resemble the thick locks of a rabbit's coat. Shimmering in the light with amazing depth, it feels as if one could reach in and feel its velvety ears. . Moonglade is defined as the bright reflection of moonlight on water. From wild clover, silver rabbit feet stretch out, of wild hares so nimble only their tracks tell of their presence. All rests on an extra wide band stamped with a single word and two small rabbit tracks. "Prickings" is defined as the footprints of a rabbit.

In our modern day words such as acorn, lark, and pasture are being replaced by dictionaries such as the Oxford Junior edition who feel they are no longer relevant to childhood. This culling makes way for new additions such as chatroom, MP3 player and celebrity. Traveling throughout Britain and Ireland, the author sought out to create a glossary of words that may one day be forgotten; as of now many remain only in small, rural villages and the minds of our elders. The intentions behind this book not only feel like a righteous revolt but also evoke a deep feeling of connectivity - these pages feel sacred.
I was inspired to create a series of rings based on select entries. Some are Gaelic, some are Latin, some are simply English or from the mind of a five year old who has yet to feel the restraints of a heavy world. The first of these rings is a word used throughout poetry and English literature.
Crafted out of Fine Silver (.999) and Sterling Silver (.925). It has been given a dark patina then finished with a mix of both rough and high polishes for maximum magical feel. Measures approximately 1.45" x 1.4" at longest and widest points. Weighs in at about 1.5 ounces. Fits a size 7.5 and unfortunately CAN NOT be resized. Rests on a single, wide band as shown in the above pictures.
