Circle of Salt
Magic circles of protection and containment are sacred spaces marked to draw in and contain energy and/or to provide an area of magical protection.
Found in grimoires, magic manuals, supernatural tale, legend and movie, the most commonly known type of magic circle is the circle of salt; providing protection from the foulest ghouls and beast that stalk the living.
As if falling salt is captured in time, this piece of lodolite quartz offers inclusions that conjure images of sprinkling, falling salt. This particular circle measures 1.35" x 1.75" at widest points including bail. It weighs approx .70 ounces.
Entirely handcrafted out of Sterling silver and fine silver, strung on the thick, blackened, sterling silver rope chain as shown above which measures 18" long.
