Shining constellations and resting moons guide your dreams, dancing around an absolutely incredible, massive American-mined opal! This opal dances with full rainbow, stunning flash. This is a rare and valuable stone! It is gorgeous and I do not have any others quite like it.
It is rare to find an opal of this quality at this size and also American mined.
PLEASE NOTE!! There is what is called "crazing" in this opal which is small cosmetic "fracture" lines within the opal. (You can do a search for opal crazing if you are unable to zoom in on these pictures). These "cracks" will vary depending on the humidity as well as if you dip the opal in water now and then. This is a normal aspect for an opal and does not affect it's structural integrity. Some opal types benefit from being dipped in water now and then (every 6-12 months or so), this piece would be one of them.
Made entirely out of Fine Silver (.999), Sterling Silver (.925) and brass. This piece measures approximately 1.75" X .9" at longest and widest points including bail. It has been given a dark patina and then finished with finished with a mix of satin and high polishes. Strung on a 20" Sterling silver chain.
PLEASE NOTE: The chain shown in the above pictures is the chain that this piece comes with! While I understand chain preferences are individual, I am unable to swap this chain out for another one. You may choose to do so on your own as the chain is not permanently connected to this piece.
