The pumpkin patch seemed to pop-up over night! And upon further inspection each pumpkin was carved with its own face. Each face as unique and grinning forward as if one peered out over a sea of people, and despite these carvings each and every one remained impossibly attached to the vine. The tendrils had reached out and wrapped themselves around foot and wagonwheel and even seemed to stretch out to the crows that perched themselves atop the stems. Leaves rained down from trees from a distant field and the air was steeped in the smell of autumn and hay rides. Halloween seemed to be taking root and it intended to stay a while...
This pendant features a piece of tourmaline filled with the glitter of a trick or treat pail and all the flickers of church full of candles. Truly one of the best tourmalines I have ever held!
Handcrafted out of Fine Silver (.999), Sterling Silver (.925) with brass acccents (the leaves are made of silver and brass). It has been given a dark patina and then given a heavy satin, bright brushed satin finish mixed with high polishes. Approximately 2.2" x 1" at longest and widest points. A hefty piece, this is strung on a 20" chain as shown above.
As always, stones are ethically sourced and artisan cut.
